Currently, I work for myself and contract to agencies and brands who need corporate, advertising or marketing communications.

I write a blog called The Blurred Line and my portfolio is available right here. I do try to add new things, but work often seems to get in the way of personal promotion.

A LITTLE INSIGHT INTO WHAT MAKES ME TICK…

I believe in activating brands. I believe that the change from traditional to non-traditional media is transforming advertising faster than we thought. More and more consumers (like me) don’t want advertising pushed at them, they want to pull it towards them – the right brands, the right information at the right time.

We don’t just believe in a cool pay-off line anymore, we have to experience the brand and internalise it before we believe in it. This is where marketing plays such an important role, establishing personal interactions that build one-on-one relationships between a brand and a consumer – and never just a consumer either – a potential ambassador.

Over the years I’ve specialized in non-traditional forms of advertising from direct to online to activations, shopper marketing and mobile promotions. I started out thinking I knew it all… now I know a lot, but realize that every brand, every brief, every challenge is going to bring new insights and demand a different approach and that the day you know it all is the day you call it a day.
